Zeta Hybrid in Opticast 100

This was just an experiment.
I wanted to see what Opticast 100 was like to work with, without wasting too much, and without ruining my burl edge.

So I made the smallest blank I could using 2 offcuts from previous pen blanks, and some Opticast with opaque red dye (didn't want to risk a 2 colour mix just yet!)

To be honest, I am quite happy with it, considering it was just a trial piece.

I think after a few more trials with mixed colours and clear dyes, I'll try my hand at some burl edge hybrids.

That turned out well Adie, I'm a little unsure about the crisp straight lines on the Red. IMHO.:thumbs::thinks:
