I just had to try making a pen with fishing flies and came up with this. The kit is a ProzX. What do you think? I must try and find a better prop!

Absolutely love it. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:
I'm a keen fly fisherman myself and that to me is brilliant.
How are the fly prints put onto the blank ?

Harry what a great way to include real fishing flies, choosing to do so with a pour this way, using subtle colouring . In the hand and slow turning an example of art conception and practice. All round pics would be amazing mate.

The kit isn't to my taste but love the blank, nicely done.
I'm a fly fisherman as well who like most tie my own flies, would be interested to see how you made the blank.

Bob and John, the blank was made using a label for the background. This was sealed with Mod Podge and the flies glued on with CA then it was cast in PR. Simples! Well, there is a knack to glueing on the flies to make them look "natural".

My desk has a permanent fly tying set up and always a mess, drives the missus potty. :whistling:
I must have a go at something similar, once I get around to casting that is. :thinks:
