I really love the Sirocco kit.
I've made a few now, and thought I'd try the brushed pewter kit.

I paired it with a polyester resin 'opal' blank.
The pic doesn't do it justice, the subtle rainbow colours in the resin are fantastic.

This for a female friend for Xmas.

Thanks very much.

This was my first go at a polyester blank.
I was a little daunted, having read about how fragile and brittle they can be.
I had no such issues and it turned very comfortably with carbide tools on my Axminster Precision pro.
