Bought the blank from the USA,realised I would need a kit I do not have so I made it from two stray kit pieces I had amongst my come in handy bits and pieces. I like it it handles well. Writes better than I can.

Peter.

Necessity became the need for invention,to buy a couple of kits, pay for them and freight turns a 25 dollar custom made blank already plus freight into a silly cost in a pen.

I had this brilliant idea when our daughter visited last July from the US I gave her my surplus US dollars to make purchases for me using her paypal. Our exchange rate is up the spout as we speak making this a good thing. However I made a purchase of ten kits recently the order came unstuck or whatever and it took two months to get my kits, then I got carried away buying an ancient molar that cleaned me out fangs very much. Hence I am looking through boxes of nondescipt kits to give me a U Beaut challenge hence this pen I am very proud of and it will become my go to on the Computer desk. My next challenge was finding hidden in a bag in the recesses of my voluminous preciouces a cast watch part pair of blanks, two shaved american quarter blanks etc awaiting that special design and kit. But I found heaps of special blanks, prepared three to go soon. My best mechanical frind the disability scooter is taking the strain away from shopping and cavernous hospital visits to specialists where a 2pm appointment means up to four hours wait.

All the best Terry Happy New Year. Everyone.

Peter.
