So I may have had a bit of a stash of Siroccos here... I have some Mistrals and Tempests on the way as well but needed some examples of some of my blanks so I turned these the other day. I'm not a huge fan of black plating on my own pens but I think the color combos work on these.

I agree with Les.
They look great.
I did an all black Sirocco, its certainly one of my best.
I have three Tempest to do with your Diamond blanks, looking forward to the "Sparkle".

Thanks guys!

Looking forward to seeing those Dave! The green/brown/black blank was the only one that didn't make it over to the UK yet... new combination I'm playing with. Need to pair that with a copper Sirocco and see how that looks!

Oi! Black is the new gold - didn't you know? Just wait until you find out what is the new black:wink:

Great looking pens Tim. You're doing all my marketing for me. Don't let me stop you.

I like these pens - especially the black kits - they combine well with those blanks.

Black does seem to go with most pen kits. Be they gold, chrome, titanium or gun metal.
At the end of the day it’s the person buying that has the last say.

When I did my Photography course so long ago the the head Lecturer insisted on black backgrounds for submitted pictures for appraisal and marking. At the time it shocked the socks off me. Deciding what pen combination on this forum follows trends and I for one find your choices great. A Rose by any name. Terrific pens mate.

Peter.

I will say this, when you cast your own blanks in bulk, it does take SOME of the paralysis out of choosing the color combinations. Thanks for the compliments! Next I need to put that green/copper/black with one of the copper Siroccos. Copper plating is a nemesis of mine. It always looks good in the bag and then I struggle to find the right blank for it. Came up with 2 different color combinations for my DiamondCast blanks JUST so I'd have something I could put the beautiful copper Sirocco with lol
