Looks nice Eamonn. Would like to see more of the blank.

Here you go Terry..

That's a real beauty Eamonn!!
Great kit with an exceptional blank!! Did you cast the blank??
**NICE**:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

No I didn't make my own blank. Went down that route a few years ago and suddenly developed an allergy to the chemicals.

No matter what I used, weather it was clear cast or PR I came out in red blotches and had a streaming "cold type" effect for several days after.

I didn't pinpoint it yet, but I get a sore throat and runny nose for a few days after turning
some exotic wood from who knows where. Sometimes I remember to wear a dust mask.

I tried an industrial vapour and fume mask that helped with the cold symptoms but didn't stop the itchy skin and red blotches.

So decided enough was enough.

CA effects me as well, whenever it's opened up. Try to avoid using it but sometimes get the stupid request to have a pen coated in the stuff.. :rolling:
