Last February I had to go to Denver to see mum, so I visited a turner / caster while I was there. Robert Franklin, if you ever get the chance to watch his live shows on Facebook you should, great skills and lot's of knowledge.

We made 8 or so hybrid blanks during my visit, Bob uses Alumilite.

Used one of the blanks we made this week and I love it, got 4 or so left and everyone is different, think we mixed 10 colours for the pours.

Check this out, Cottonwood Burl and the resin.
