This one is for a friend's husband, who is a police officer. The blank is a Rhino, called Molten Bronze. I probably should have chosen a darker blank, but hopefully he'll like it. It is a stunning blank.

Had some chipout, probably due to my over aggressive turning style. But I was able to fix it with CA.

Great looking pen Jim:thumbs:
Nice blank, turn, and photo.
How DO you take those perfect photos??

My photos are far from perfect, but thank you for the compliment. I use an older Canon PowerShot SX260 HS camera, and shoot under a 4ft fluorescent shop light and a small fluorescent desk lamp. Apparently the camera has an excellent auto white balance function, because fluorescent light usually gives photos a greenish or yellowish cast. My washing machine is my studio. LOL

Peter.

Thanks for the compliments. Over here, we consider a "shop light" a dual 4ft fluorescent fixture. Single tube fixtures aren't as common. Which is a good thing for my old eyes. LOL

Peter.

I found there are two different brand tubes in the fixtures. Neither specify the Kelvin rating.
