This is a PSI Federal pen in antique pewter. The blank is an acrylic acetate called Red Swirl. The red is a little darker in person. I know some of you don't like this kit, but I like all the details in it. Although, as my son pointed out, the eagle is reminiscent of the Nazi eagle from WW2.

Heaps of depth in that blank makers these days are getting flame depth in their pours no pin holes there. THanks for taking the time out to show the details of the pen kit sure explains them well otherwise just one view misses most of the features. The German people dont own Eagles and birds of prey they adopt symbols from obscure beginnings how I miss Paul our resident bird man Where are you Paul?.

Over years we moaned about lack of diversity in pens the mass market has had a field day making them now the range is exhausting for us. I hear you saying where are the bushes, what size drill is needed. I follow closely the UK importers of pen kits and realise just what is involved in a new pen kit release amazing really.

Living in the land of IS for us in the land of WAS until our money devalued full marks for picking up Jim on the new, the good the different like them so much.

Peter.

Do you zoom in or get that close for the ''close ups''

No, I don't zoom in, just crop the photos. This is one of the photos before it was cropped (but resized from the original file size).

I've not seen this kit before but I must say I do like it. The blank doesn't look too busy against the detail in the kit either. Very nice:thumbs:
