This is an Atrax ballpoint in platinum. The blank is a Rhino called Pomegranate Martini. I like the blank more than I thought I would.

This is actually the second blank for this pen. I messed up the first one, and the tubes showed through. Apparently the paint inside the blanks was still wet when I glued in the tubes.

Beautiful kit and blank Jim:thumbs::thumbs:
Nicely done!
At least you DID paint the tubes.
Many times, at the last stages of finishing, I see the !@#$%
brass showing through because I forgot to paint it.

I painted the tubes and inside of the blanks purple on this one, and colored the epoxy.

Lovely pen Jim :thumbs::thumbs:
I've tried painting the tubes on many an occasion but the paint always scrapes off when gluing and assembling.:rolling:
Whats the secret.:thinks:

Make sure the paint is dry, is the best tip I can give you. I also use epoxy, which seems to "lubricate" the tubes as I insert them.

Quite subtle for the first pics then bursts into colour after that in the cap area illustrates just how more pics show the true story of pens. The reason I do this as well. Love the pen Jim.

I have a collection of pen kits that came with other items from many places yesterday i found a kit that the brasses had beautiful grass like sleeves glued on that were almost transparent to me they look great on our site would be booed out of town. At a footy club where we are members one wall has large slim backlit tree scenes that are magnificent that would not pass this test.

Peter.
