Good looking pen, Angelo. Looks like your camera is overexposing the photos. Does it have an exposure adjustment?

Yes it does, I'm not too good with stuff, but it was set on +2
I set it back to -1
I'll try it this way and see how it goes.

That's a right smart looking pen. Change your background to a mid shade or dark gray.

Yeah, +2 is too much for a white subject. I would start with 0, then go down from there.

Last night Angelo sifting through a box of blanks I found one timber one with fine lines like your pen so out of character normally the markings are broad bands that is the appeal I have for your pen mate.

Peter, I have one wood blank left just like that.
The block I bought was called spalted black line oak, the ''spalting'' was very light, so it just looked
like a light piece of wood with black curvy lines.
Pen looks good Angelo.
As for photo, provided I can see the pen that is all I need, presentation, over exposure and all that stuff doesn't really matter to me.. We are a pen turning forum aren't we..
Yes the busy background for a plain one and cropping a little closer would make a difference. But unless you are entering the next photo exhibition then the photo is OK for me mate..

That pen appeals to me Angelo. A nice clean looking pen which is well made.
