Ok. This is something I've wanted to have a go at for a long time. It's peppered with mistakes but I have learnt an awful lot doing it.
Please feel free to wade in and give me what's for, I've got no pride left to damage :funny:

That looks great for a first go. As you say there is a lot to learn from the first one you make. The cap and barrel look good. He section could maybe have a little shaping done but sometimes it's hard to tell what things look like or feel like in the hand from a photo. Great job!

There is so much to learn going kitless. Ive found that planning sorts out a lot of the pitfalls.
But nothing beats having a go and seeing what you get and for a first attempt thats great.. :thumbs:

You have done something that i have been going to do for over a year now Brody, my comments are positive knowing what is involved in making one of these pens .. A good choice of colours also my friend .. A damn good first effort indeed .. :thumbs:

Braver than I am that's for sure mate, dreading having a go at those, s'pose it will have to happen someday! I reckon you made a good job for the first effort Brody.:thumbs:

I like it, even the pink. ( don't forget we use part of Pink every day of our lives.)

The threaded section looks like it needs improving but apart from that top marks mate.. well done
