This is my second Rinehart pen, this time in chrome. The blank is a new one for me. It's a Woodshed called Jet Stream, and it is spectacular! It's a little brittle, and turning it was a little rough. I had to sharpen my chisel several times, the blank reminded me of a Rhino. It definitely leans more towards the hard side than soft. But it polished very well, and looks amazing. I have two more Woodshed blanks, and can't wait to turn them.

I got the clip and facets on this one aligned much better than I did on my first Rinehart.

As on the first Rinehart I made, the refill tip on this one sticks out quite a ways. I made sure I didn't over trim it, so I guess on my next one I'll leave a tiny bit of "meat" over the tube ends. I switched the refill with an easyFLOW 9000, and it looks somewhat better. Or maybe it's just in my head. But regardless, the easyFLOW writes much, much smoother.
