NOT great photos but this was for a specific order.
A very good client of my sons specifically asked for "Beech Tree Pods" set in Blue/White and it had to be a click pen.

Not an easy task :thinks:

The nut pods the client gave us, they came from a tree on his land.
after stabilising, casting and then turning this was the end result...

I was really pleased with the way the pen turned out, going to turn another for the client with the inside of the blank painted a light blue.
This one you can just see the brass tube through the white acrylic :rolling:

Nice Job Colin, lovely looking blanks. To be honest with you, I do not like to see hands holding pens in pictures, but that’s just me. :thumbs::thumbs::goesred:

Though as I said in the top post this was just after I made it to show my son.
My wife has this one, (she really liked it) I didn’t think it was spot on (you can see the brass tube).
I will make another this weekend and take some “Proper” photos

This was just to show what the pen looks like :thumbs:
