Hi All,

thank you for all the comments recently. I have tried to incorporate your advise including tapered section and insert threads into this pen.

I wanted to add a red band around the section but ran out of red blanks, trying and failing to cut very thin thread against a thin wall so had to use a pearl blank to finish it off.

I'm really happy with this one

Thank you so much for all of your comments,

Hi Angelo,

The nib is a Beaufort nib. I love this nib - it’s beautifully overstated. I have had it for a 3 months and finally figured that I’d like to use it on a very understated blank, making the nib the real feature

Hi Mark,

I think it is a Casein blank. I asked a supplier of blanks in the U.K. to ‘send me some blanks that I can put a thread into’. I got this. I carried out some research and I believe it’s a Conway Stewart.
