Well I appear to have done a few pens this month.....my latest comission is this Sirocco pencil with a Scott Walker blank (aka Sawes). Cheers mate!IMG_20200218_131839.jpg

That's a smashing Pencil mark! Hope its not a silly question; how did you add the BMW image?

Not a silly question Tony,
It's called "label casting" where you print an image onto a specific size piece of paper, this is then wrapped around the tube, sealed and resin cast in a pressure pot. I don't have the patience or skill to do this, apparently it's very difficult to line the seams, what I do is pay some extremely talented people to produce the blanks I want, this was a Scott Walker blank....aka Sawes on this forum or Mr resin on FB

I drive a 1999 Mercedes and gazing at the BMW badge I imagine the Mercedes symbol would look great as well. I join with you in admiration of Pauls casting and your talented turning.

Mine is all wheel drive the previous owner never put it in low range nor will I. Snow is beautiful in the surrounding mountains winter time here.
