Well it’s taken a pandemic virus, long term lockdown and possible global economic collapse for me to justify spending some quality time in my shed at last.

So I’ve tried to make the most of the time and I’ve had a go at making my own clips. This example is hammered bronze paired with krinite green ice and matching bronze accents. This material is lovely to use and does look great, especially when the sun shines on it. I didn’t have a rose gold nib which would have finished it off nicely, so I had to make do with PS for now.

Anyway, stay safe everyone.

Yes, thanks for sorting it out Phil, and thanks to everyone for the kind comments.

The little that I have learnt about pen making has come almost entirely from information and feedback from contributors on here, (plus a bit of YouTube of course), so I’m very grateful for that.

Now if only I could learn how to successfully post pictures on here...

It's not your fault - it's Apple's. Some iPhones and iPads don't parse punctuation marks in the same geeky way that the rest of the planet understands, and when they appear in thread titles here, the forum software doesn't like it and throws its toys out the pram. I'm guessing you used an apple device to post your thread. The "sheduction" in your title caused the problem, so it was just a matter of editing out the " " and then putting them back in non-apple gobbledygook.

I see, thanks Phil. You're right I did it on my iPad.

Funnily enough I used to be a web developer in a previous life and quotes, along with other special characters, used to cause so many headaches that half the code was built around parsing this type of stuff, but I thought those days were gone. Perhaps I should offer my services to Apple to help sort it out as I've got a bit of spare time on my hands at the moment...

I will keep this in mind in future posts, (although I must say was more proud of the title I came up with than the pen I made to be honest).

Cheers
Ash
