This one is a little simpler than the last one I shared, much less work with less furniture, (i.e. no clips or rings).

I must say the Kirinite blanks really are lovely to work with and, provided you sand properly, they polish up to a fabulous shine. This is Root Beer with Black Pearl accents.

If you're interested in how I do the finishing, I always use a skew to turn down to final size as it gives a really clean finish off the tool. Then sand 320 (if needed) to 400 grit. Then I use buff compound, (that's what its called - buff), on a buffing wheel followed by waxing.

Cheers

From the valley a new standard in pictures and pens,Amazing quality and clear display. We watch over here Barnyard Builders in the US so am familiar with hand cut timber that lifts the imagination to new heights.Love the use of black top and lower sections. Brilliant career.

I’m very envious of any who make kit less pens. This is a lovely pen, the blank is beautiful, I must get some to add to the museum like collection of unturned blanks, it’ll join the other section of the workshop that resembles a saw mill!
