    Amber Gambler

    Hi all

Some of you may have seen this on the US pen turners forum as I posted it on there too, so sorry for the duplication but I have nothing else to offer 😥.

I am on a bit of a Conway Stewart vibe at the moment and this is Amber with a yellow metal accent ring at the grip.

    Cheers
    Ash

Ash I like this one a lot. Is it a home made blank?
So a neighbor knocked on my door at 3a.m. 3a.m.!!!!!!! Luckily I was already up playing the bag pipes.

    Thanks Terry.

This one is a Conway Stewart blank called just “Amber”.

I think it would have looked better with a gold nib but I didn’t have one at the time.

Beautiful. Conway Stewart certainly knew how to make a blank. Nicely turned Ash.

I haven't seen it before and am very pleased you have shown it! That's very nice, I do love the older blanks and yes Conway used to make some stunners
