The latest pen I made of another timber reminded me that every timber has a huge variety of grain, colour a favourite from 30 yrs ago is Blackwood in Tasmania.

You've done it again, Peter - shown us a nice pen - and teased us with a brilliant wood! You must be a sadist!

Bob.

Peter, I'm speechless.
You turned a hexagonal pen? You want me to die of envy?
The timber is out of this world and you gave it justice.
Really Peter, is truly a fantastic pen.
You just showed me a master class job, my friend.

Thanks a lot
Francesco

No Jim my method is very heath robinsonish takes quite some time in these days of OH&S I dont publish it and harking back to my old big ex meat band saw glad its gone looking at the fact I used it for so many years without a blade guard.

My Wizard stands idle I am not happy yet with the mechanics of the thing I like smooth repeatable and precision the way I will modify it should do that but its on the end of the line of jobs to accomplish.I got in touch with the maker early on to tell him show him my mods he brushed me off.
