I've been feeling the need for a bandsaw sled for a while now, but couldn't get going be ause I kept complicating the design. Finally I decided to stop planning and JFDI. Not pretty, but it's done the job today!

I believe the noun I am tempted to use in this situation is "cool" man.
Satisfactorily describes the adjective.

Jim, I had some sycamore off cuts which I ripped down to 10mm, then used the belt sander to work them down to just fitting in the T-slots. It's a little tight at some points, but so far no play ...
