Last of the day is a Gold Plated Omega Rollerball carrying a Bigleaf Maple Burr blank .. I gave this blank a coat of BLO and left it overnight before giving it a CA finish .. Polished with Huts Plastic Polish using a Beaufort refill ..

Just absolutely lovely Jim - thanks for the tip on leaving the BLO overnight as there are some woods that just pop with it IMO :thumbs::thumbs:

Maple can be either way out there or hidden as you turn this pen of yours Jim if it is a result of the treatment left overnight had to start off just so beautiful it leaps out to be one of your most exciting pens to date.

Fit for Royalty Jim, that is one of the nicest pieces of wood I've seen and what a fantastic pen you've made with it :thumbs:
