Hello all.
I'm a retired office worker, now learning to do things with wood.
I have had a mini jet and chuck for about 6 months, and now getting a little less scared of it!

So, hoping to kit up for pen making and making my fortune selling them!

Searching for info on 'which mandrel' brought me here.
Think I'm going for the Axminster deluxe for Tyzack on ebay

Thank you for the offer Grump.
I would have taken you up on it, but I'm 2MT.
Am not in any great rush tho, as I'm currently making an E-Pipe in Olivewood, which will take a few more days.
This seems a nice forum already

Thank you all, for taking the time to say hello.

I'm looking forward to reading up on what you all do, and steal some ideas here and there.

And the photos too! Love photos

That sounds interesting I would love to see that, I used to make e cigars and pipes when they first came out.
Couldn't compete with China so gave the job up, still have all the kit I think, taps n dies n wire n stuff.
Be sure to show us when it's done init?
