Hi, Names Ian from the Midlands some call me Father, some padre, some call me a sky driver, yes I am a Vicar. I also go by my 'pen name' Rev.O.Lutions...I thought it was fun at the time. Been turning on and off for about 5 years after a bout of depression, I needed a creative outlet and as I was an engineer by apprenticeship [turning, milling and then boring...which some say i still do!] just wanted something I could do in the garage and started out with a very old lathe powered by a washing machine motor which gave out within six weeks. then tried a Clarke lathe...don't go there. Now have a mini Axminister re-con job which suits me fine. Mainly do pens both wood and acylic, a few small bowls and ear ring stands etc. The stuff in the garage has expanded and my wife calls me out for looking at lathe porn when the axminister catalogue arrives. Looking forward to meeting you all.
