Terry,

Long ago I gave up on Zebrano found it to be hairy as and hard work, punky stuff so I admire your persistence perhaps cause I nearly always cut across the grain I make a rod for my own back. Your timber has good contrast in it. I have never done 20 coats of CA perhaps this is like blanks impregnated with plastic and provides two answers one filling the grain two providing a platform to acheive a great finish.

Your pen the better grain colour ever, well done.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
