I got the email just now, can't say I'm impressed with the look of the pen kits, but maybe that's just me.

Plus when will online shops get good at marketing FFS, BIG pictures sell stuff :thinks:

This sale will suit a few turners, it is possible that selling pens in the UK is getting very difficult as they are trying to compete from on line sites from abroad ... :down:

Seeing most of the stuff on sale today i wouldn't have it given to me ... :rolling:

They had the JWL-1220VS Mini Lathe on the counter advertising its sale price, the presentation of this was enough to put people off buying it all together. The variable speed control box was hanging off and laying on the counter, there were chips on the framework, it looked as thou it was ready for the tip not advertised for sale ... :down::down::down:

Most of it is the old stuff from craft supplies that they cant sell like crap pen kits

Paid a visit to these yesterday and was really dissapointed in what i saw, most of the shelfs were only stocked with a few items, and the wood area is either the cheap crap or the expensive stuff. The banksia nuts on sale were that poor i would have found it hard to have them given me. :whistling:
