Just been reading about the Woodfest Wales which is coming up at the end of June. It's held at Caerwys this year which is fairly close to me so I think me and senior management will nip along. Looks like a good day out.

What a brilliant day out. Demonstrations there on anything to do with wood such as pole turning, chain saw carving etc. They also had pole climbing. 90ft high and the fastest we're going up in 13 seconds. I can't do that on the flat.
I called in to the Axminster stand. It was fairly small with not much on offer. However they did have some discount vouchers going begging. 10% off one item up to £1000 excluding power tools and valid up to end of July. Must be used at the Warrington store. I picked up 20 if anybody on here wants one. I'm going to have a look at a table saw.

Look out for the Blind Veterans UK stand. I was on the stand last year & enjoyed it. There were some woodturners there but it is mostly tree oriented. Lots of chainsaw carvers, tree fellers & plenty competitions to keep you interested & of course things for sale but not really woodturning oriented. Bob Neil was there with his pyro graphs & some excellent woodcarvers.
