I know how difficult this project is for you David, but version 2 is a big improvement, maybe on this one the sail is/looks very sharp, but at least you can now tell it is a yacht ...

Enough of the jibes, it is an incredibly hard task for you David, I don't envy you in this meaty.
Seriesly now I think the sail looks too tall to define it correctly.
The hull looks much better side on, would it perhaps define it more with the keel on?

It looks a bit too symmetrical to me, but much better than the first how about showing a mast in the sail and the sail a bit smaller than the boat the height of the sail is about right.
but what would I know :whistling:

Firstly the pen nib shape (like a fat sail)
with the figure behind is excellent the nib is shown right way up as is the figure (my take) the upside down yacht cant be an Aussie one no winged keel or indeed any defining way to keep the tall sail upright. Thats why we name things to help others to understand where we are coming from.

Looking again your first one looks like a golf tee with eyes behind a fountain pen nib to me. Very much like specialist Doctors we tend to focus on what we are trained to see first or most important.

Now standing on my head I can clearly see what you have done a wavy line in the right place may give us a better idea of which way is up as it then clears up the mystery.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

Thanks for the comments, guys. I've tried putting a billow in the sail and reducing the height of the rear sail slightly. Posted as a separate thread.

Didn't want to add the keel - makes a yacht look like a fish out of water, if you know what I mean!
