How do you square the ends of your pen blanks when they have been drilled to odd sizes as when making the likes of the Baron or Gentlemen pens? I don’t have a disc sander as you see on many of the videos and I don’t think the normal barrel trimming system fits these tubes.

My trimmer came with an extra sleeve that increases the diameter so that Baron and JR Gents come out square.

But I'm guessing that doesn't help really.

An easy way is to drill a hard bit if wood to fit over the trimmer and turn them down to the sizes you want

Would you believe it I have just been going through the Turners retreat catalogue and found that they are selling A barrel trimmer head and separate trimmer shafts for Sierra, Baron and Gentlemen's pens as well as the usual 7mm,8mm and 9.5mm. I should have looked here first.
