This Amboyna came from Vanuatu out from Austalia, the brown Golden often cuts out from the same piece of Burl as the Red, the Golden is rarer than the Red. In common with this timber found in many countries it is a member of the Rosewood family. These blanks are a little over 25mm square, absolutely fabulous grain. When I received them they were damp so I dried them in my roof space.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
