I thought I would try doing a Pentel pencil mod as detailed on the IAP site, and wondered how it would work with Corian.

So here it is.

Quite a drilling feat mate the pencil really went to plan.Like it.

Peter.

I didn't know if I would be able to drill a hole this long accurately enough as the Corian was only 12mm square and a bit rough at that! I chose a piece that was reasonably true and set it up carefully in my independent 4 jaw chuck (metal lathe), then drilled it out in stages. I made a few small changes to dimensions and made the bushings from steel.
