Do the pallets get any anesthetic before you pull them apart or do you just not listen to the screams? :funny:

I got all the bits together to make one, then reaslised I don't got a welder no more.
I saw these cheaper than the cost of fuel to get to a welder so bought em and glad I did, they does the job so well.
Love yours Mark great peice of effort in that mate init?

Nice one Mark, I made one ages ago with timber and a couple of bits of angle iron, worked ok then I found one that Brian has got got, works a treat! well done mate..:thumbs:

Over here pallets are put together with glue coated nails shaped with a twist like a drill bit. Next to impossible to remove. I just saw them apart. Going to cut around the holes anyway.

The best pallets I ever found have been from the Glass imported into Australia in large sheets Wilma and I used them in long lengths and great quantities to build a large covered verandah at our daughters place an enterprising employee at the
the firm I went to denailed them all and sold them for a nominal amount (could not believe our good luck we selected only the best they were Scandinavian beautiful timber). We spent a couple of months building a few hours at a time.
I bought a second hand deck using the bearers from the crates, fantastic placing the bearers to match the nail holes previous using stainless screws. Years ago now they sold and moved so no pics.
