Bought this thin bit of burr Elm the other day just over an inch thick oin the middle hope to cast a few pens out of it

Would look damn good just cleaned up as it is, a pretty piece of timber. I have a couple of small bits been hoarding for years, till I am sure I wont cock them up.:sob:
