I had a few cutoffs of old polyester resin blanks that I cast earlier. So I thought I would be patriotic and made up a Black Stripe Chrome Slimline with our empires colours -Red White and Blue.
Again I used CA and had a few stuck up moments but thats horse's for course's with me.
Cutting the segments was awkward as the blanks were round and I wanted the angle to be 45 degrees. I got there in the end, with a lot of sanding to get the segments as true as possible. This is the result.

Well done, Rowdy. Didn't that 'empire' thing get mislaid a while back? We blame George III, if my history lessons are correctly recalled ... Or is it those upstart colonials across the pond?
