Jsut a quick question to see what sort of price people think a 12 inch wide by 6 feet long and 2 1/4 inch thick is worth :thinks:

i have been told between £30-£50 i have been offed some for £40 a plank


I always work with timber by the cubic foot & your plank is 1.125 of a cubic foot, I wouldn't want to pay above £50 for it. Always remember to start low & haggle hard :rant:

Right I bought on planks it is 2 1/2 by 24 by 6 feet paid 40 for it pics to come it not bone dry but it will not take long to dry

With all that red it is going to make some wonderful turnings before you cut and turn it have a good look to see if their is any metal in it I say this because of the color metal normally dose that to Yew whos a lucky chap then
