The Blue object on the right is a sophisticated Dust X System runs under the lathe bed to the chuck end outlet. The Vac under is ready to hook up to the VicMarc Vacuum Chuck, 3 Phase motor smooth as no ripple effect as single phase creates vibration.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

It looks like that lathe is your pride and joy well looked after as all machines should be and I'm sure you have had many a happy hour on it not many workshops are kept as clean and tidy as yours mate thanks for showing it to us a real joy to behold

Thanks for sharing Peter, that looks a beaut of a lathe, very solid & well engineered.

I'm all for a tidy organised shop, I hate working in a mess, I'm bad enough with putting something down & not being able to find it again without the added thought that it could have dropped in a pile of shavings :rant:.
I try & make an effort to clear up when I've finished for the day, makes starting the next session at the lathe that more enjoyable & prevents "hunt the abrasive" as there`s always one grit missing if I don`t put them all together. :nonono::nonono:

Happy turning.

That looks a beast of a machine. I bet there is no vibration off that. I wonder what kind of drive bearings are fitted to the headstock I bet they are substantial whatever they are!!!!
Thanks for showing.

A real veteran here! And not a speck of dirt on the floor - can you come over and clean mine up, Peter? Teas will be on me!
Bob.
