Mick, search the site for a thread Terry made regarding his home made sander .. He uses this in good style for his trimming ... :thumbs:

You can always get some scrap hardwood and make your own sleeve for the trimmer barrel.

Use a spare / scrap slimline tube as a liner.

Just a thought.

If you are like me and useless at making anything technical then Machine Mart do a small 6" disk and belt sander (CS6-9C) which does the job and costs £71.98.
This is the way I went and it has not let me down and only takes up a small space.
