So firstly i apologise for my absence from the forum just recently, been a tad busy with life and ailing parents, but i don't want to bore you with that.

So last week i did manage to get a bit of workshop time and poured a new silicone mould, which i finally managed to test this evening and poured a black and white just for testing purposes, i sliced a bit off to see what it was like, im very pleased with the uniformity of the lines/spirals but your thoughts are always welcome :)

The spirals do look uniformed Stuart, so a big well done on this .. Did you get someone to turn you the last blank that you tested? :thumbs:

I wish your parents a speedy recovery Stuart ...

Ref: last blank Jim no i had a few issues with the casting so went back to the drawing board, i think i kinda bit off more than i could chew trying to cast 6 colours lol i am going to concentrate more on the 4 fluted variety for the time being.

I like that it would look even better if it had another coloured spiral running the other way. :thumbs:
