Where to buy Pen Kits - Newbie

Hi everyone,

Firstly, sorry to ask a question that must be as old as my wife, well I could not say me, could I!!!!

Where to buy the pen kits? I did get the Turner Retreat catalogue and also know that Axminster sell them. Don't like to keep the eggs in one basket, is there any where else that you use.

Timberbits, in Australia but free postage if you spend $80 Australian, good service, good range!!

Vince at The Turners Workshop is a good source and a nice helpful guy.
Helen at fun-e-turnz | eBay Is another.
Dave at Pen Kits, Pen blanks, Clock Kits and wood turning accessories. is popular in this forum but be careful about import taxes etc. The lads here will put you right if you have questions on that.

All of the previous suppliers are very good.

Some cheaper pen kits can be found on e bay, but be aware of cheap copies..
But one I know has been used is Helen on e bay, fun e turns. If you search wood turning pen kits you will be supprised what you will find.
