This was a pleasure to turn, lovely wood to work with.

Sanding sealer only again until I decide what to oil it with.

And it's not a dog bowl is it Woody !

That is real nice Phil most defiantly not a dogs dish one thing you don't put sanding sealer on before oil you put oil on bare wood so that it soaks into the wood and gives the shine depth sanding sealer is for polish, lacquer type finishes not oil

Thanks all, certainly won't be giving up pens just yet !

I do have to say there's something very satisfying about making a bowl, must be some kind "provider" thing going on lol.

The apple is fabulous, might have to get some more of it I think.

Truly a neat bowl fit for the lady of the house mate sure grew with some good seasons judging by the growth rings, random patterns create extra interest and surprise.

Look forward to the finished item.
