When young Alex visited me he gave me some bullet cases which today I decided to have a play with some of them one on a slimline kit the other on a euro which I think will be going back on the lathe to remove the centre band what do you think the wood is Turkish Walnut

A lovely pair of pens and better for the band being removed. A lovely finish too. Turkish Walnut is what most of the gunmakers use for their stocks nowadays.

I knew it would have to go as soon as I finished it but I wanted other peoples opinion before I removed it
