Another stunning piece of work from one of our great masters.

Congratulations to Penpal once again for his winning pen http://www.penturners.co.uk/wood-tu...-olive-wood.html?highlight=Special+olive+wood in this week's Pen of the Week.
Peter's pen will feature on the Forum's front page until the next winner is decided, and all pens posted on the forum since last Sunday morning will be eligible for POTW37, which will be open for voting on Tuesday.

I'll also congratulate you Peter. I won't call it a "ripper" like Alan, since I have no idea of english compliments or insults, and I'll shy on the side of caution.

Well done Mate! Beautiful grain in that blank and your upper section contours are excellent.

Well done Peter. A very good looking pen, worthy of the accolade.
I managed 5 votes this time. More than at any other time.

Well done.

Cheers

Mark, I was just giving an Aussie a bit of slang that I picked up during my time there. A " ripper " means " fantastic " in that context.

FRom other sources as well Olive Wood intrigues me,you never know until it is shaped what will be revealed. It is tough timber to cut wet or dry. Love the challenge.

Peter.
