A pic from a phone of my mate Jim turning large clocks I mentioned he was using three lathes depending on sizes well this lathe is VICMARC,s top of the line with three bed extensions and the clock was around 45mm with like all burl an irregular shape forming a potentially lethal outreaching sharp edge hence for the crucial cuts protection up the better checking to see creating fine lines doubly dangerous with an audience. Our next get together is a Xmas party next month with our wives.
