Hi everyone. I live in beautiful Suffolk and have been turning pens for about 4years. Favourite wood (so far) malee burr. Favourite kit (so far) David broad well nouveau sceptre. Favourite penturners, Mervyn Cadman. Will put pic of sceptre pen onsite when I get the chance but am busy getting ready for pen turning demo (my first) at a local woodturning group. I am looking forward to going through the forums and see what everyone else is upto. Regards. John

Welcome John! Just looking at the Nouveau Sceptre the other day - bit expensive for my taste but no doubt a cracking kit! Looking forward to seeing your work.

Welcome to the forum John, enjoy the banter and don't pay attention to any of this lot on here, they should have been sectioned year ago.. :face:

There are only a few that you can honestly take any refuge with, and they all have less than 1000 posts..:face: enjoy..

Looking forward to seeing some of your work..

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. The demo went ok. Too much to fit into an hour and a half slot though and still try to cover what's needed to demonstrate pen making. Now it's time for bed
