Large piece of apple approx 8 inch diam x 4 inch deep
Finished with sanding sealer & Myland melamine lacquer (non spray).
Some nice grain patterns in this.

You're right about the timber Steven, though fruit wood does usually throw up lovely surprises & is one of my favourite timbers to turn :thumbs:

I must be the odd one out, my first thought was that of a Bowler hat, go figure ... :whistling::whistling:

Very well finished Steven, and a lovely piece of wood shaped to what your hand lead you .. Cheers my friend ... :thumbs:
