A very upmarket group travels around Australia lands here five times a year. One stallholder stocks up on a mate of mine Bens bowls and the holder does handmade burl bowls. took a number of pics
the first one is Black Locust Burl by Ben, then Huon Pine Burl by Lee, followed by Red Mallee Burl handcarved by Lee.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:

I enjoyed both being there and revisiting with occasional friends the guy who made the Black Locust Burl does standout bowls and drop dead pens mostly bowls now I hope to do a series of pics or get some from him to show here on the forum he has not been able to work for a year or so with a wrecked shoulder now on the mend to learn he has to go back under the knife again soon, with two young kids lots of strain at his place.

Also photographed another guys bose and a mates stall of only pens will try tonight to put some on the forum. there sure is talent all around. Two of the three fellas live 5 mins from me.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
