How many here make spin tops??? Here is a prototype I have been working on. I have a few more designs that I want to make. I use various woods with these. Here I am incorporating my scroll sawing skills with turning skills. I think these will make for some nice tops. Thanks for looking.

Lovely work John :thumbs::thumbs:

Spinning tops are popular at the craft fairs my local woodturning club stand at, they like the membership to make them to help raise money for charity, so I have made a fair few in my time, though not to the standard of the one in your photo.
