This one is for the good lady wife, she likes straight long vases, obviously nothing easy :nooidea: so as she is out shopping at the mo I took the opportunity to turn this for her as a bit of a Christmas stocking filler.

Made from the same spalted Sycamore as yesterdays bowl, but with far less spalting, it is 8" high & 3" at the base with a slight taper up to the top, finished with carnauba wax.

Sorry the photos aren`t brilliant but I was in a rush as I wanted to get them taken & posted before she came home.

Very nice Doug... did you put your tool in it?

I don't know about putting it in your Mrs Stocking but I bet Paul McCartney would buy it to put in his old Mrs stocking. Did you know he bought her a plane for Christmas.... and a lady shave for the other let... yes... you can't beat the oldies.:thinks:

Really nice Doug, excellent lines.

Sure the better half will Be over the moon with it.. Especially now that you have managed to get her back to fill the fridge for you..:face:
