I have a sign for my workshop door it says 'piss off I am busy' but the still distract me
One of my friends bought me a sign that says "Sorry if I looked interested. I'm Not."
My best present, from my son, just to make sure no one else even gets near my cave..

SWMBO is most respectful when I occupy the shed as she is a little hard of hearing and experiences the surprise of not hearing people enter rooms where she is and I often wear hearing protection with Lathe work requiring full attention meals some times have to wait for me as she enters the shed without me hearing or seeing her so off she goes.

I've got my husband trained to flip the lights off and on quickly if he needs my attention quickly. It was a technique I used when I was managing a restaurant many years ago and my busboy was deaf. When we were closing and the only ones in the shop the only way I could get his attention was to flash the lights.
