SWMBO turned up from another room this bowl made from Camphor Laural a declared weed tree in Australia.

THanks I like it too main reason I dont turn bowls and similar we are so close to Asia where you beaut timbers abound in the tropics one reason is they do not have growing seasos that create growth rings rather smooth as featured stuff. They sell by the countless and end up in thrift shops cheap as chips I have them all through the workshop with screws whatever in them, so available.

Lovely stuff Peter. I love the grain on that wood and the shape of the bowl.
